As a small cichlid breeder and aficionado of all things aquatic, I had the opportunity to clean a friend's aquarium on a semi-regular basis, They loved how my tanks always looked and wanted me to make theirs look the same. And that is how the maintenance side of the business started a few years ago. I as the main purveyor in the business I started my fascination with fish at 5 or 6 years old when my father got a used aquarium and had some fish, from there I was 9 or 10 years old when I started with my first aquarium a 20 gal. I remember reading lots of books, all I could find at the library (Because back then there was no internet to find information on) on fish and turtles. I spent my teens with a multitude of tanks and started woodworking and building my own stands and canopies. Into my 20s I was heavily breading central and south American cichlids with some Africans in the mix too. Most of my life I have been fascinated by the aquatic life, whether it was fish from far away places or the fish in my local creeks and rivers, I have tried to further my knowledge of their lives, habits, and how they live in their environments...For me, creative inspiration will always come from the natural world around us. I tend to try to make the habitats as natural looking as possible with decorations and objects that would ideally be found in the area the animals are from.
In the future, I would like to open a large retail aquatics shop with the capacity to have a very large variety of life for hobbyists to purchase and enjoy.
